Photography has been part of my life since my early teens, and during that time technology and photographic art have undergone huge changes. In more recent years I have been inspired to study and practice historic and alternative photographic processes... taking me back to what I originally fell in love with all those years ago, the science and art of hand crafted photography.

I like to use combinations of historic processes which include a range of alternative printmaking methods.

I use hand made emulsions and film in both large format studio cameras and pinhole cameras. I particularly enjoy how different these images look from the modern world that surrounds me.

Personal nostalgia is central to my work, in particular childhood memories of the landscapes I grew up in.

I am continually inspired by nature, and capturing the passing of time.
